. The camcorder actually takes good pictures indoors where there is enough light. I just used the camcorder as it came in the box without a lot of adjustments. The sound is actually very good. The zoom feature doesn't make a noise on the video clip when it zooms while recording, which I like. It's easy to transfer the videos to my Windows computer. You can plug in the camcorder with the included cable or just insert your SD card in the computer's card reader slot. I've used both methods. I've had other older camcorders in the past, and it was a huge hassle to transfer the video clips because they were a weird file format--this one makes video files that are much easier to work with. Gets the job done and is a value for the money.
